Can I just say how sad it is that there are very few shows network shows recognized. I mean, I know that there are some crappy shows out there, and reality tv has taken over a bit, but there are good shows! It's sad that network television is looked down upon right now. Like the only good shows are on cable.

There's not much I have to say about the show itself. You know, it is what it is. I don;t like Ricky Gervas. Where's NPH?

I haven't even seen most of the movies and shows nominated, so I can't even truely comment on the winners.

I've never seen Sons of Anarchy, but I really do like Katy Segal. I'm happy for her.

Chris Colfer deserved to win 100%!! I love Scott Cann and Eric Stonestreet, but come on!! It's Kurt Hummel! I didn't even look at the screen when he gave his speech because I knew I would cry!

Suck it Lea Michelle! You are so fake, and I see right through you.

Jim Parsons and Kaley Cucco were so cuute!

I did like the RDJ thing, when he asked if anyone was uncomfotable or something and Emma Stone raised her hand. That was great.

I think Andrew Garfield could very well be my new celeb crush!

We all know that these award shows are all about the red carpet anyway! I'm so into this nude color trend!

Amber Riley - A little too prom for me. Hate the hair.

Megan Fox would look so much chicer without the slit. It looked like she was about to flash Ryan Seacrest.

Helena Bonham Carter..worst dressed ever. All the time. I mean, I get her statement, and people are applauding that. I am not one of them.

There was something I didn't like about Niole Kidman's look, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Not a fan of Scar Jo. I liked the color and the fabric, but the butterfly sleeves were very wrong.

JLo had on a weird little number. I don't really know if I like it or not.

Darren Chriss seems like a huge tool to me.

Carrie underwood looked pretty. It's a little "bling bling", as she said, but it looked very simple at the same time

I didn't like Tina Fey's look. A little matrainly.

Justin Bieber. I've never talked about him. I'm not as fan. I've probably only heard him sing once. He actually looked pretty good though. And it looks like he cut his hair or at least isn't pasteing it to his head anymore. It looks good.

Johnny Galecki looked very nice tonight.

Catherine Zeta Jones looked incrdible. Great color. Although I have to say the dress looked so much better on the show then in the pictures.

I like the hat on Geoffrey Rush!

Robert Downey Jr. needs to learn how to clean up a little. Susan Leivn, on the other hand looked great.

Sandra Bullock was a bit of a mess if you ask me.

I don't know how I feel about Emma Stone. It's very simplistic, very chic. The color doesn't go with her hair color at all.

Jane Krakowski - I really liked the color!

Robert Pattinson looked hot as always. I don't know if his suit had a hint of blue, or if it was my tv, but it looked good.

Lea Michelle usually looks good, but it just didn't do it for me this time.

Julianne Hough - pretty bad. It looked like she was wearing a bib.

I didn't like Natalie Portman's look. The only good thing about it is she wasn't trying to hide her bump.

Jayma Mays - love the plunging neckline!

Halle Berry looked terrible.

Hailee Steinfeld - She's cute and her dress was pretty - she'z kind of katniss - y

Claire Danes looke pretty great.

Michelle Williams was a little 12 year old girlish.

I really adored Leighton Meeester!

Anne Hathaway looked fabulous. I like the long sleeves on a red carpet.

I'm diggin the skinny tie P.Fac!

Olivia Wilde - Amazing dress, but very plain hair and make up.

I loved Eva Longoria from the waist up. I didn't like the train.

Jennifer Lawrence - I like ruffles, but I'm so not into the mullet dress.

I love Julie Bowen, but the dress was a total miss.

Piper Perabo - did not like the bow and I think the lips are a little too red for her complextion.

Kevin Bacon is too old to try to pull off that haur cut.

Sarah Hyland - the dress is great, the color and the embellioshment at the waist/chest is gorgeous. Not really a fan of the necklace.

Aw! Matt Bomer looked so dashing!

Julianna Moore's dress was horrible.

Elisabeth Moss looked a little plain. A little mascara never hurt anyone.

Naya Rivera - a little boob-tastic, but I did like the dress.

Best dressed!

Angelina Jolie looked go-od.

Dianna Agron - love this look! The dress just looks so elegant and floaty. And the hair is fantastic. Old Hollywood.

Jenna Ushkowitz. I was suprised by this one too! You don't ever hear about this chick, but she looked lovely.

Mandy Moore..I didn't see any interviews with her. I haven't seen her in anything or around in forever. She wasn't nominated or presenting. I just caught a glimpse of her on the red caret, but she looked fabulous.

That self pity shit is just too hard to resist.

Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, Betty White

Today was the big Bears, Packers game. Not that I cared. At all. But just about everyone I know cared. And people were updating their facebook status say how the Bears had failed even before th game was over! I'm just saying that I have never ever given up on any of my teams, no matter the circumstances, and I think fans should always support their team and stick with them! Even if I am talking about different kind of teams! ;)

I just watched the series finale of Medium, and it was awesome! Even though it was a heartbreaker, there was a, if somewhat unconventional, happy ending. It really stayed true to what the show has always been. And it actually really gave me hope for my mom and dad. I hope my dad felt that too.

It also brought to my attention that the show is based off a real person. And that means that there is a real Joe Dubios somewhere out there. And that makes me unbelievably happy!

I'm obssesively opposed to the typical.

I've seen 3 of the Oscar nominated movies; Inception, The Kids Are Alright, and Toy Story 3. I will have seen The Social Network before the awards. And I'm definately going to see Black Swan. I'm kind of even wanting to see The King's Speech, what with all this hoopla and what-not.

I love Anne Hathaway, but not so much James Franco.

I know that Colin Firth is the frontrunner for best actor and I'm sure he deserves it. I would honestly like to see Jesse Eisenberg win though.

Christpher Nolan should definately win for "Original Screenplay". Inception should win for all those things; "Cinematography", "Art Direction", "Visual Effects". It is one of those WOW movies.

For some reason, my gut is telling me that "Sound Mixing" and "Film Editing" should go to The Social Network. I haven't even seen the movie yet, but it's just a feeling.

I read this article about Mother Dolores Hart. She was a movie star is the '60s who left Hollywood to become a Roman Catholic Nun. It was really interesting. When she's asked how she knew that's what she wanted to do, she compares it to being in love. Saying, "You can't not do it". This woman is a part of the Academy, and she watches all the movies in this tiny room on this eight inch tv and sends in her ballot.

Ain't nothing on the airwave in the dispare we feel.

from Eating the Dinosaur

Before Fox plays "Johnny B. Goode" at a high school dance, he tells the audience, "This is an oldie...well it's an oldie where I come from."

Chuck Berry recorded "Johnny B. Goode" in 1985. Back to the Future was made in 1985, so the gap is twenty-seven years.

I'm writing this essay in 2009, which means the gap between 1985 and today is twenty-four years. That's almost the same amount of time. Yet nobody would ever refer to Back to the Future as and "oldie," even if he or she were born in the 1990s.

What seems to be happening is a dramatic increase in cultural memory: As culture accelerates, the distance between historical events feels smaller. The gap between 2010 and 2000 will seem far smaller than the gap between 1980 and 1970, which already seemed far smaller than 1950 and 1940. This, I suppose, is society's own version of time travel ( assuming the trend continues for eternity).

What you are doing is screwing things up inside my head.

The Grammys! Better late than never.

I was very underwhelmed by Gaga. It's of course an unusual, very avant garde, but it's not really what I want from her.

Muse was the best thing on that show! Their performance was spectacular!

B.O.B. was wearing a monicle during his performance! How awesome is that?!

Bruno Mars is a little bit hot. He does amazing modern work, but it all has this total throw back feel. I love it.

I was suprised that Carrie Underwood wasn't there. Where was she?

Usher and Justin Beiber make me laugh. Does anyone else find this pairing strange and humorous?

I can't call myself an Usher fan, but when that man dances it melts my heart.

I love Will Smith more than words can possibly express!

I really don't get Cee Lo. What kind of guy is he?

Who is the best new artist? I've never heard of her.

Rihanna and Drake were hott. Serious. Sex. On. Fire.

I think Natasha Bedingfield was a little too dressed up for the Grammys, but I like the dress.

Am I the only one that thought, 'Why is Johnny Depp here?' when I saw John Mayer?

I applaud Ricky Martin for wearing those pants.

I don't know who Keri Hilson is, but she looked hot. I really like the structure of it.

I love when boys wear those super cute boyfriend sweaters all buttoned up!

Rihanna looked like she was just wrapped in those horrible plastic leis. Horrible.

If this is any indication of what to expect from a grown up Selena Gomez, I'm excited!

I didn't even recognize her! She's not orange!

I think I'm in love with Dianna Agron.

Jonelle Monae was super adorable.

Kelly Osbourne has come a long way right before our eyes. The little fashionista!

Amber Riley does know how to dress. I love the design detailing. And the shoulder! I personally would like to see her hair up just once.

I love that Jennifer Lopez knows exactly what to wear for any occasion. It is a little short in my opinion, but she's got the legs. And the Grammys would be the place to show them off.

B.O.B. looked some kind of sexy.

I'm on the right track.

I took the old skeleton key to my Grandma's back door and put it on a chain. She loves that I wear it as a necklace and my whole family has recognized it without me saying anything.

I'm a sucker for anything animal print.

Nearly one in 10 Americans have rare diseases. Many--but not all--of these diseases are genetic. More than half of the people known to be affected by rare diseases at this time are children. The National Organization for Rare Disease asserts that everyone knows someone affected by a rare disease. And, even though each disease is rare, together they significantly impact the American public as a whole.

Help raise awareness for FA and the importance of funding rare disease research by reposting this link and printing this press release to share with your local news outlets.

My bedroom, right now. I want to change it. Soon.

This old school desk has been in my Grandma's basement for as long as I can remember. My entire family has grown up playing at this desk. When I found it in my Grandma's garage just waiting for garbage day, I had to take it.

I got both of these for Christmas and haven't gotten around to hanging them yet.

This is my wall unit shelf. At the top is a plastic yellow egg. When we were growing up, my sister, cousin, and I each had an Easter egg the color of our bedrooms. It was a long time ago so my wall colors have changed, but I still get the yellow colored anything. The other week we were making dinner and I got the yellow plastic wine glass. Obviously.

On the shelf below that, sits my Dundie.

And the shelf below that is my Valentine. Every year my Grandpa gave all the granchildren Valentines, and that is the last one he gave me before he died.

On the bottom left is my tequilla. On my 21st bday, some of my family went for a breakfat celebration. Jessica and Jake gave me the tequilla and lime. Jake saying that, "I didn't have to drink it, and shouldn't give it to peer pressure." The salt was missing, so Molly put the salt shaker from the IHOP in my purse.

This is my cool spinning, hanging thing.

My sister's boyfriend stole this duck from someone's yard. I named him Lance.
My dad got the ship as a souveneir gift and didn't like it very much, my mom absolutely hated it, I love it.

Apparently there's a ghost in my room.

I have like seven pillows, including a wrestling buddy. It's Macho Man Randy Savage, but my cousin renamed it JASHEC M TARD. Each letter standing for a boy/celeb we were crushing on. I couldn't tell you who they all were. All I remember is the 'H' has to be Heath Ledger.

I don't like all those pictures taped to the wall. Honestly, it's just a crappy paint job and the old color is showing through, so I put the pictures up to cover it.

My friend made that cross in her Conformation classes, and decided she didn't want it. I said that it had to be a sin or something to throw away a cross, so I took it. And I never throw anything away, so I still have it.

I had a friend who painted that dream picture for my bday one year.

My uncle gave me those purple beads after he got home from Iraq.

I bought that caboodle when I was like ten, with my own pennies, and I bought it because it was leopard print. That is the only reason. There is nothing in and there never has been.

My sister works at Ulta cosmetics so I get free perfume samplers.

I usually keep candy in my giant martini glass. Right now it's Crystal Lite's hard candy.

I didn't get it in the picture, but behind the perfume bottles there's a candle with a stapler inside.

The Serenity prayer was this year's Christmas gift from Grandma.

My Grandpa had a gumball machine and kept the pennies for it in a tootsie roll bank.

Beanie Babies was a huge thing for us growing up, and when McDonald's started their teeny beanie thing, we would go around all day, diving from McDonald's to McDonald's looking for them. Now, the stegosaurus was always my favorite baby, but it was one of the firsts ones and retired immediately, and impossible to get. So I was very excited that it was a teeny. But it was a special edition that didn't come with a happy meal. You had to buy it seperate. For like ten dollars. And my mommy bought it for me. And it's the only one that survived all these years later.

"There's no place like home...coming" was the theme of the homecoming dance my sophmore year of high school.

The drawings are from cousins. The dog is from Mayha who is five. Lexi who is eight, drew a picture of me. And Ernie and Bert are from Danielle. Who is 16.

It's gonna find you when you least expect.

The clip from Back to the Future seemed very odd to be in that little parady of the year's movies. And what was with the family introductions? We don't care. Anne and James were very awkward together. Honestly, James Franco is just a weird guy. He always gives off this 'just smoked up' attitude. Anne would have been okay with a different co-host. Seriously, who thought James Franco would be good for thig?

Kirk Douglas is a very old man and I could just barely understand what he was saying, but he was funny and oh so charming.

I don't care what anyone says about Justin Timberlake acting or comediac ability, I absolutely adore him.

You know how you cry when you're sad, and women tend to cry when they're happy, and some people curse the fact that they cry when they're angry? Well, for me, basically every emotion I feel is linked to my tear ducts. I cry all the time, and I can not control it at all.

I cried when Melissa Leo won. I don't even know who this woman is. I mean, I know she was nominated for The Fighter, but I've never seen her in anything. I didn't even know her name before this.

Jeff Bridges talking about the leading ladies made me cry.

I cried when Randy Newman did the Toy Story song, We Belong Together.

Anne Hathaway's many gown/suit changes were...interesting. First I did not like what she wore on the red carpet. The flowers and the gathering is just yuck to me.

I liked the white dress, but the detailing at the chest was kind of going on and off for me. I liked the suit! And I liked the high ponytail. I did not like the midnight blue dress, but the color is pretty. I don't know what to call the next dress. Like a modern flapper look. I like these kind of dresses. I though the dress was too long to be that style, but it's so fun. The next was just bad. Much too tight, and slighty see through. The last was my favorite. That's what she should have worn on the red carpet.

Amy Adams: What was with the necklace? That was bad, and the sleeves were just unflattering. That type of sleve looks too tight on anyone. I like the color and the sparkle and the high neck. It's a nice dress, but seriously, I don't care if your grandmother gave you that necklace on her deathbed, it looks horrible with that dress.

Mila Kunis: The dress is very pretty. It's sheer and flowy and ultra feminine. I hated the accent on the breast though. It looked like the top was too low cut and the edges of your bra are showing.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Everyone has nothing but good things to say about this, and they are correct in saying that she has the body for this design. The only thing I could think of when I saw her was 'microwave dinner'.

Virginia Madsen: A little Cruella de Ville.

Susan Robert Downey Jr: The sheer sleeves on the dress were a little much. I don't like the white tie with the white shirt. It looks like he's not even wearing a tie.

Maria Menounos: I did not like the dress. I am not a fan of velvet, and I don't really like the whole one arm thing. The bling was amazing though!

Nicole Kidman: This dress was bad. The structure at the hips and the detailing throughout. She needs to stop letting her daughter make the major fashion decisions.

Mandy Moore: I didn't even know who this was at first. I love the dress. I thought that maybe a little more spakle on top would be a good thing, and it wasn't totaly obvious that it went all the way to her neck. I would have liked to see something done with the hair.

Halle Berry: Wonderful. I really love the nude color dresses! I thought she looked so pretty. The only thing was the train. It was just too much.

Florence Welch: I some what liked this. It was a little much, the sash at the waist, the tying at the sleeves, the unnecessary train. But I like the whole vintage, unusual, uncommon feel this gown gives.

Hilary Swank: This is a dress for me! Sparkles and feathers! Ah. Mazing. I just thought something more could have been done at the bust. It could have gone a smidgen higher or just more fitted.

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz: There's not much to say about formal men's wear. Unfortunately for them, there aren't many choices. As for her, too small. Her boobs were popping out of the dress. Can we get some coverage here?

Erin Andrews: Stunning.

Aishwarya Rai: I thought it was a little frumpy. Maybe just get it taylored a litt more.

Helen Mirren: There is so much emphasis on how new talent needs to dres appropriately, but it's just as important for the older ladies. It's important for everyone, really. And Helen Mirren kind of kicks ass! She looks so classy and the dress fits so well. The shoulders  are keeping the young look going. And I just say yes!

Jeremy Renner: The lapels just draw me in. I can't even explain this.

Melissa Leo: This dress got a lot of shit. I just have to say that I liked it. The lace and the gold just worked for me, and the necklace was a nice touch. I seriously like the structure and pattern of the neckline, and I'm even coming around to the collar, which I innitially didn't like.

Sandra Bullock: It's elegant and romantic, thumbs up. The only thing, she should have added some grea statement earing.

Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers: He is just dashing. I like her dress, the reflective-ness, I think, is really cool. I love the color.

Annette Bening: See through much?

Hailee Steinfeld: How adorable! It is a serious princess gown! I love it! Except for the headband. I remember thinking that she needed to take it off as I'm sitting there wearing a headband.

Busy Phillips: I thing there's just too much fabric.

Sharon Stone: I love the dress and the feathers at the shoulder. I think the hair is great...bump it! The makeup though, is way too much.

Christian Bale: All the black really stands out to me, but I think it's time for a shave. Or at least a dye so it matches the rest of his hair.

Cate Blanchett: The skirt was pretty. The waist +up was a disaster. The circling of the bust, the beads, the yellow at the shoulder and down the back...it's a mess.

Camila Alves: That. Dress. Is. Incredible.

Helena Bonham Carter: It wasn't a disaster.

Cheryl Hines: Very pretty. Elegant.

Natalie Portman: This dress is wonderful. The draping is great for a pregnant belly and I love the neckline! And the color is goregous!

Russell Brand: I actually like this look. It wasn't as clean as everyone else and what the Oscar's call for, but he pulled it off.

Cody Horn: What are those gloves/arm warmers/sleeves?

Andrew Garfield: He lookedall kinds of good!

Jennifer Hudson: I liked the color, but this didn't not flatter her chest.

Marisa Tomei: I liked the bottom. The cinch at the waist was pretty bad, and I though the bust was too high on he chest.

Michelle Williams: I liked this, very chic.

Best dressed!

Celine Dion: That dress is amazing!! And the hair is so romantic.

Jennifer Lawrence: The first on the red carpet and she set the bar so high! She  looked incredible!!!

Scarlett Johansson: I loved this. The see through lace over the solid was fabulous! Although, the bust line could have been more covered. The back of this dress is fantstic!

Reese Witherspoon: I first saw her in the car, just her head through the window and her hair is amazing! The black and white is so classic. Fashion police said she looked like Oscar Barbie, and I think that is a good thing. Honestly, through the night I kept thinking she looked like sommeone, and that someone is Barbie! Thank you FP for pointing that out to me!

After-parties

Emma Roberts: I'm not really digging the sleevess. It would have been a better dress without them.

Kim Kardashian: I don't like the structure at the chest. It looks like someone just glued one of those old fashion hand fans on the breast.

Kelly Osbourne: I really like the dress. The pattern and color work very well, and the sash at the waist is a nice touch. I would have skipped the cuff though.

Madonna: I'm a little too young to understand the whole, "Only Madonna could pull this off" thing. It just looks like a hot mess to me.

Vanessa Hudgins: Very cute. Great color, a little bit of the glimmer. The shoes are pretty hot.

Taylor Swift: I'm not crazy about the color.

Emma Stone: I wish the mullet dress trend would just go away!

Hailee Steinfeld: I adore that she wanted to keep her princess dress on and just exchanged the heels for some chucks.

Selena Gomez: Oh so pretty, the little fashionista!

For you I bleed myself dry.

And they still sound the same as when you were here.

I've had the idea forever to make an urban dictionary type thing. All the slang and text/internet jargon. To make this little dictionary for my dad, and my aunt, and my grandma. Maybe even my brother.

I would include things like
-lol
-idk
-shorty/shawty
-boo
-gtl
-lmao

My concern, of course, being all the swearing an inappropriateness.
-wtf
-free bitch
-dtf

How on earth I'm so supposed to give a piece of paper explaining 'dtf' to my father?
